If you have particular muscle tension or chronic joint pain a remedial massage may be for you. Your therapist will assess where you need treatment and what may be causing your pain.

They’ll perform some tests to see exactly which muscles or joints are giving you trouble and will tailor a treatment plan to suit.

Conditions such as back pain, sciatica, carpal tunnel, stiff necks, headaches, sports injuries and many more complaints can be helped with a remedial treatment.

As a complementary addition to treatment or as a standalone activity we also run group and private yoga lessons to keep you moving and improving.

If you would like more information or advice regarding what’s best for you, please call us to discuss your condition. Or, simply book online and enjoy the benefits.

"If you always do what you've always done, you will always get what you've always got."

 Albert Einstein

A remedial massage is the manipulation of the body’s soft tissue (i.e. the skin, muscles, tendons, ligaments & fascia) using the hands in a gentle, flowing massage technique employing varying degrees of pressure & stretching movements. The appointments last for 45 minutes to give the therapist time to ask questions concerning general well-being, injuries & medical conditions that may limit treatment. Massage may include oils, lotions or creams that will nourish the skin and allow freedom of movement over the area.

In a private yoga lesson you will have the opportunity to truly focus on your own practice and tune in to what your body needs. You'll work closely with your teacher to create a bespoke tailor-made session with poses to stretch and strengthen specific areas of your body that need it, including breathing and relaxation techniques that will help tackle your lifestyle off the mat too.

Yoga was traditionally taught one-on-one and whether a weekly necessity or an adhoc indulgence, it’s the perfect way to address your personal needs and intentions and really make your yoga practice work for you.

Small friendly yoga class designed specifically for those wanting to start or progress on their yoga journey. Lots of our members were complete beginners to yoga before they joined us. Yoga helps improve flexibility, build strength, improve posture and increase general well-being. These classes will help change the way you think and feel about yourself helping you to take better care of your body.

From 14 weeks pregnant yoga can play a very important role in pregnancy. “Generally, pregnant mums who do yoga exercises appear healthier, both in mind and body. Their bodies are more flexible, which enables them to adapt to various positions when in labour and the ligaments are more elastic, which in turn can help to reduce labour pain.” Independent midwife Manijeh Nedas
